Traceability, all of Annabel’s yarns are breed specific, sourced from farms which go above and beyond caring for their flocks with the best possible practice. When we purchased our yarn, we were given the location where it comes from, the farms and even the date of shearing, how its made and what processes it has had through its journey.

organic merino from the Falklands

All of the yarns we are working with are from the Falklands, 100% organic merino, hand dyed by Annabel in her studio in Bristol using Avocado and Madder. This yarn has a beautiful character, with occasional slub which add to the unique texture. Not to mention it is dreamily soft. The natural dying process give the yarn a slight varigating shade, slight tones of colour which once knitted, look rich and luxurious.
